A cut submarine cable is the cause of the Internet slowdown experienced across the UAE today. Etisalat is working closely with its team of international partners to re-route traffic to ensure this has minimum impact.
Etisalat has invested heavily in building a robust network with multiple redundant links for exactly such occurrences. This means Internet services can remain operational.
